What It Does

One station for the whole tray, from the moment a phone is plugged in to the certificate.

Android Phones

A factory reset on encrypted storage destroys the keys the data depends on. The phone's state is read back afterwards.

iPhones

A full restore through Apple's own tools or a guided Apple erase, then the activation state is read back.

Lock Checks That Stop

A Google account or Activation Lock stops the job until its owner removes it. The software has no way around them.

Hardware and Battery Checks

Battery health, storage, memory and sensors are read before the erase, with a checklist for screen, buttons and cameras.

A Certificate for Every Phone

A PDF and HTML certificate with the full step log, signed with Ed25519. Failed and stopped jobs get one too.

Many Phones at Once

Each phone gets its own card and its own job, so one station works through a tray while the operator handles the locks.

How Each Phone Is Handled

Every phone goes through the same six steps, and each one is written into its certificate.

  1. 01

    Connect

Plug the phone in over USB. An Android phone needs USB debugging allowed once. An iPhone needs Trust This Computer.

  2. 02

    Identify

Model, serial number, IMEI, storage and battery are read from the phone itself. A value the phone does not give is left empty.

  3. 03

    Check the Locks

A signed-in Google account or Activation Lock stops the job and asks for it to be removed. A battery below 20 percent stops it too.

  4. 04

    Choose the Method

Before anything is erased the method is recorded, with the category the phone can reach: Purge when encrypted, Clear when not.

  5. 05

    Erase and Check

The reset or restore runs, then the phone is read back. Where the result cannot be seen, the operator confirms it and the report says so.

  6. 06

    Sign the Certificate

The certificate is written with the full step log and signed. Anyone with the public key can check it was not changed.

Standards It Follows

The category each phone reaches is taken from NIST SP 800-88 Rev. 2 and written on its certificate before the erase starts. The method is chosen the way IEEE 2883-2022 sets out for flash storage.

What It Will Never Do

  • Bypass a Google account or Activation Lock. It finds them and stops.
  • Claim a pass-by-pass overwrite of a phone's flash storage.
  • Mark a phone without storage encryption as Purge. It reaches Clear and is shown below policy.
  • Call a phone erased because a reset command was sent.

These are fixed rules in the software, not settings an operator can switch off.

Pay Per Phone

Buy a pack and use it at your own pace. Packs add up. A phone is counted once, when its erase starts, and running the same phone again within 7 days does not count it twice. From ₹25 per phone.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can it get past Google account protection or Activation Lock?

No. When either lock is found the job stops and waits for the account to be removed by its owner. The software has no way around them and none is planned.

Is a factory reset really enough?

On a phone with encrypted storage the reset destroys the keys that protect the data. NIST SP 800-88 Rev. 2 treats that kind of cryptographic erase as Purge. On a phone without encryption it reaches only Clear and the certificate says so.

How are phones counted?

A phone is counted once, when its erase starts. Run the same phone again within 7 days and it is not counted a second time. Connecting a phone and reading its details does not use one up.

What happens when my phones run out?

Buy another pack from your account and import the new licence file in the app. Packs add up, so the new phones join the ones you have left.

What do I need on the PC?

A Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC with free USB ports. For iPhones, Apple's device drivers must be installed. The app checks for them when it starts and tells you if they are missing.

Does it need the internet?

Not for Android phones, certificates or the licence. A full iPhone restore needs Apple's firmware file, which is downloaded unless a copy is already on the PC.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. The trial covers 5 phones for 30 days, with no card needed. Each account can start one trial.
